Backups and Data Files Freeze Quicken

Quicken Windows Subscription Member ✭✭

I have been a user of Quicken and Windows for over a decade. So I am pretty familiar with both. When I downloaded the latest Windows 11 update is when this started last week. I have done the following to try and resolve.

  1. Uninstalled and reinstalled Quicken multiple times
  2. Verified my subscription
  3. Moved the data file from One Drive onto the PC hard drive
  4. Validated and super validated the date file
  5. Tried to restore from backup
  6. Chatted with support, they could not help

Every time I try to open the data file the Quicken program freezes. It just sits idle like this..

I cannot figure this out. HEEEEELP! :)

    What happens if you try to create a new data file?

    It will let me. The program seems to work fine otherwise. Although I haven’t done much with out my data. How would that help? I still can’t get my old data with a new file.

    Is the file size growing and growing while Quicken hangs on opening?

    Well I didn't get any help here either so I just cancelled quicken after over a decade of use. Pretty pathetic customer support.
