Credit card reconciliation: Add Other Credits field.

Credit card Reconciliation: a. Add a separate field in the reconciliation form called “+ Other Credits” This would eliminate the need for us to pull out a calculator to add the payments and other credits together as indicated on most credit card statements. It just saves a step or two and I am not sure why Quicken has not made this change before.

    If your credit card is an online account and downloads its transactions, you don't need to enter the "Charges, Cash Advances" and "Payments, Credits" fields in the Reconcile dialog. Just enter zero for both of them QWin doesn't use them.

    Quicken user since version 2 for DOS, as of 2025 using QWin Premier (US) on Win10 Pro & Win11 Pro on 2 PCs.

    If this is the dialog you're working with, please note the icons next to each amount field.
    You can click the icon to bring up the built-in calculator.
    You can also enter the calculation directly into the field, e.g., 12.34+23.99[Enter] and the result will appear in the field

    The same applies to Amount fields elsewhere in the register.

    Also note that you can use available keyboard shortcuts to enter dates into a Date field, e.g., for today's date type t
