Strange Wells Fargo logo when starting Quicken

Some time ago when downloading transactions via One Step Update, I received a notification that my Wells Fargo Visa account needed to be reauthorized by logging into Wells Fargo, I think. I did whatever I was required to do and it seemed to be successful, but ever since then when Quicken starts, instead of a momentary Quicken Classic logo in the center of the screen I get some logo indicating that Quicken is connected to Wells Fargo. (See attachment). I guess it's harmless, but it seems strange.

  • @Robert Coleman that happens when you add or update an account with Wells Fargo or Wells Fargo Advisors. There are several other financial institutions that this happens with as well. It is harmless, and sometimes is replaced by the generic Quicken splash screen when a new release is installed, or if the Quicken program is reinstalled.

Wells Fargo is one of a small number of banks which likes to "brand" it's logo on Quicken.
If you don't like it and want to replace it with the default Quicken splash screen please read this discussion and follow instructions:

I reinstalled Quicken. That restored the normal logo and seems to have left everything else intact.
