Cannot Connect American Express Account

Quicken Windows Subscription Member ✭✭✭
Started with failed a failure to update. Trying to "Fix It" failed, removed tried to re-add the account Failed.
Process completed from with the Amex website with Your accounts have been authorized successfully!
it pops back to Quicken and quicken reports failed… again.
Let's add that this occurred at the same time all of my Citi accounts wanted to be re-authorized but Quicken has no re-authorize option. I had to remove and re-add the connection to each Citi Account. And half the time I'm told those passwords are wrong even though they are right.
