No way to "Save Device" with Venmo account update
I track my wife's Venmo account in Quicken for her. But every time I try and do an online update, the update stops asking me for a Venmo security code, which, unfortunately, goes to my wife's phone. According to Venmo, one is supposed to be asked to remember the device after login so that one does not have to be annoyed by this two factor authentication on remembered devices. Quicken has no way to set that.
I HAVE set this for the machine Quicken is running on, as I am no loner asked for the code when I go to her account in a browser page. But that does not seem to help Quicken, as I am guessing the browser request is not coming from my machine but somewhere on Quicken's servers.
Please find a way to allow one other "save a device" when connecting to an account with two-factor where that company allows the saving of a device.
Thanks

Can you change that phone number to yours in the Venmo website's settings?
Or change it to an email address that you have both access to?
Or turn off 2FA completely?(Sorry, no, I don't use Venmo myself, so I can only make some guesses)

Thanks for the suggestions @ukr but no, I have my own Venmo account on those other accounts. She users her's for business, so I track it in Quicken for that reason.
And I do believe they no longer allow disabling 2FA, nor am I willing to do that since those type of accounts get targeted all the time.Cheers
