Regarding updating cash balance in a brokerage Quicken account

I'm on a Mac OS 14.6.1 using Quicken Classic Premier version 8.2.1. Need to manually update the cash in a brokerage account. I select the account, then use the Account menu drop down, but the "Adjust Account Balance" is greyed out. How do I adjust the cash balance?

    The "Adjust Account Balance" command seems to only be available when you're looking at the Register for the account (the Transactions tab). If you're looking at a different tab such as Portfolio it's grayed out.

    If you still can't get that to work, enter a transaction in the register with Transaction Type set to Payment/Deposit and Category set to Adjustment. That's what the Adjust Account Balance command does.
