Here is a bit of information - "We're pleased to announce that on May 18, 2025, Discover Bank merged into Capital One, N.A. (“Capital One”). As a result, your Discover Bank deposit account is now part of Capital One. This notice applies to each Discover Bank deposit account you may have. There's no action you need to take to continue to use your account."

Yesterday, my Discover Savings returned an error, CC 505 I think it was, but working today it seems.

I only have this account, with very little money in it, because there was a Discover Bank bonus promotion a few years ago. I actually did the same thing with Capital One around the same time.

@mmpunch and anyone else in the know out there. Will this have any effect on how Quicken processes transaction downloads, etc.??? Like say, what if someone (like me) has BOTH a Discover and Capital One Account??? Could part of a $100 deposit you direct to your Discover Account, now be split equally between Discover and Capital One; like $50 to Discover and $50 to Capital One 🤔😲🤣

I would think they will remain separate within Quicken, I have both Capital One and Discover. They are both working properly, separately. In your example, I doubt that such a deposit would be split across accounts within Quicken without some manual intervention to make that happen.
