I want it all! :)
- Date formats: if System setting is DD-MM-YYYY, Quicken should follow that, or at least allow the format to be user selectable.
- Financial Year: user-selectable period, globally applicable within Quicken app (used to be there until Quicken 2007) would be a GREAT help.
- Spark Lines: one glance view of security price movement over a period of time (the general graph for all securities already allows for time-period choice in tabs).
- XiRR (IRR): we already have a column for Gain / Loss over a defined period of time, so why not an XiRR column which better reflects security performance?
- Merger - Demerger (Spin-Off): auto calculation, as this is a common occurrence in Stocks, and calculating manually is painful, particularly adjusting in a reconciled Register.
- Secure AI: a Model Context Protocol (MCP) with Quicken, particularly for investment analysis and taxation, securely and anonymously.

Financial Year (for context):
Country Financial Year (FY)
United States October 1 to September 30
Canada April 1 to March 31
India April 1 to March 31
United Kingdom April 1 to March 31
Australia July 1 to June 30
Japan April 1 to March 31
South Africa April 1 to March 31
New Zealand April 1 to March 31
Ireland April 1 to March 31
Malta April 1 to March 31
Since Quicken is heading in the direction of supporting Small Business Accounting, setting FY would be a logical need for users.
