How do I recover transactions apparently lost when updating the Fidelity download connection type?
I just now updated the Fidelity connection type per instructions. I have 5 different Fidelity accounts.
- 401k
- Brokerage
- 529 for eldest child
- 529 for middle child
- 529 for youngest child
The 401k and Brokerage accounts appear complete. All three 529 accounts show no transactions prior to 2023. (I've been using Quicken since before opening the accounts before 2010).
Where did all my transactions go? How do I recover them?
(Quicken Classic for Mac 8.2.1; MacOS 15.5)
By the way, as part of the connection type update, a popup window showed all 5 accounts, with the 401k and the Brokerage in purple, and the three 529s in green. I didn't see any hint of what that difference meant.

Hmm… I think it didn't lose the data, but it MOVED the data… not under hidden accounts, but under the Brokerage account "College Fund." I still see the three 529s listed as brokerage accounts but those have only, I guess, the transactions downloaded today.
How bizarre.
