I like that this calculated my net worth but i plan to get a mortgage for a house but i dont see that being balanced against being able to add real estate assets. Is there a way to add physical assets like real estate, vehicles, etc?

Yes, there's a whole category of accounts for assets like houses & cars. They are mostly offline accounts, except for houses which can be linked to Zillow to get up to date estimates of their worth (CaliQkn points out below that requires a Premier subscription). Click on Add Account, select Offline Accounts, then in the Assets category there are account types for Vehicle, Real Estate, Lending Loan (for money you loan to other people) and Other Assets as sort of a general catch all for things that don't fit into one of the other accounts.

@Jon @ibasta I deleted my original response. I didn't realize that the question was for Quicken Mac, but it seems that the asset accounts and Zillow for either version (Windows or Mac) are very similar. I just didn't want to cause any confusion with describing how to add asset accounts for Quicken Windows.
