This morning I updated the balance of my Schwab account and it did not show any actions to be downloaded, however it told me that ~1700 shares were missing in the quicken account. When I looked at the transactions in my Schwab account, it matched exactly the recent action there.

After updating Quicken with the latest update (08/16/25) it did not fix this issue.

@tfichtner I think if you manually enter a stock split transaction to Quicken, you should get back in balance. When you update, you should automatically get a notification about updating the split, but if not, you can enter the split manually into Quicken.

    From Copilot:

To record the SWPPX stock split in Quicken, here's what you need to know and do:

    📣 SWPPX Split Details

    • Fund: Schwab S&P 500 Index Fund – Select Shares (SWPPX)
    • Split Ratio: 6-for-1
    • Record Date: August 14, 2025
    • Effective Date: August 18, 2025
    • Impact: You’ll receive 6 shares for every 1 share you owned, and the NAV per share will adjust accordingly. The total value of your investment remains unchanged.

🛠️ How to Enter the Split in Quicken

    1. Open your investment account in Quicken.
    2. Go to the “Enter Transactions” button.
    3. Choose “Stock Split” from the transaction type list.
    4. In the dialog:
      • Security Name: Select SWPPX.
      • Date: Enter August 18, 2025.
      • Split Ratio: Enter 6 for 1.
    5. Click “Enter/Done”.

    Quicken will automatically:

    • Adjust your share count.
    • Recalculate your cost basis per share.
    • Preserve your total investment value.
