Quicken Classic Mac, I removed my file onto my desktop (the reason is immaterial) and now cannot find where it belongs. In Library/Application Support there is no Quicken Folder, and when I search I cannot find any of my other files either. I made a copy of my current data file before I moved the original but can't find that either. HELP!!!

I should add I did place the file in Application support and it opens fine. There is just no appropriate folder for it.

The default location for your Quicken file is in the Library/Application Support/Quicken/Documents folder in your home folder. Make sure you're not looking at /Library/Application Support at the top level of your Mac drive, Quicken stores nothing there.

Quicken stores a whole bunch of other stuff in Library/Application Support/Quicken so I can't imagine that it isn't there.

What do you mean by "home folder"?

Your home folder is the main folder for your user account, you'll find it in /Users/your_user_name.

Yeah, that's what I thought you meant. The only Quicken folder is the Backup folder

I found the folder. It is in the hidden Library folder accessed from the GO menu and clicking on option+go
