This just started for me today, 9-25. I ran OSU successfully twice yesterday.

Do I need to do anything to fix this, or does it just start working by itself?

Same here. Updated to a new Fidelity cash fix update 9/25/2025 and it broke Fidelity. Now CC-501 on all Fidelity accounts.

CC-501 on my accounts except RBC Wealth Management accounts. Includes BOA, Chase, Citibank. One step update sits and spins for several minutes, then eventually times out with the error.

New, as of 9/25/2025, I have gotten cc-501 errors across multiple financial institutions (Capital One, Bank of America, Wells Fargo, etc), all of which I have had in Quicken for a long time.

    No changes to my set-up.

Is the issue at my end, at Quicken (or its servers provider) or the financial institutions?

    What can I do?

Same issue as yesterday. They say they fixed it around noon yesterday but here it is back again this morning. This is very frustrating and every time this happens it fails to download my Schwab transactions even after it is supposedly fixed. I always have to go back and enter them manually and I do a lot of trading so it's a lot of work to keep quicken up to date. Not sure it's even worth the cost anymore.

This morning's (9/25/2025) is definetely as complete disaster. One Step update threw many errors (CC-501), where it worked before the "upgrade"

This morning I installed a new version of Windows Quicken Classic which supposedly was to address some Fidelity issues. Now when I run an update it fails on Fidelity giving me a CC 501 error message. It was working fine yesterday prior to this new update

Using Quicken Premier with the latest update this morning but the problem has not been corrected. OSU hangs then shows cc-501 error. Not acceptable. Where is support??

Please back out this update. No one can update properly as Quicken hangs and the only way to stop it is to use task manager to end the task.

Just adding to what others saw, when I updated this morning, all (5) my credit cards failed. It tried to connect, there was no error, it just said it didn't update. After trying each one individually, some did fail with the cc501. Something is update with updates.

Quicken is also asking my to reauthorize which I have already done once, but since it is over 15 accounts, I m nervous to do so again after reading about duplicate transactions. This is a mess.

Same as of 9/25 - error code CC-501 but only on Chase accounts. downloads from 2 other instituions worked. And this was before and after the update that I saw today.

running Quicken Classic Business & Personal on Windows 11, Quicken V R64.30 Build 27.1.64.30

One Step Update attempted this morning, appears to complete successfully but does not download transactions from any accounts. All accounts linked via Express Web Connect.

    Even quotes do not update

I also have had problems with CC-501 errors for the past 2 days. Although running the download multiple times does download some transactions, the CC-501 error still persists!

All accounts again this morning, maybe time to look for something else to use……

There support site says it's 'your bank is blocking our servers…', Really all banks? And what sounds like all users?

For 2 days now the transaction download for PayPal Credit hangs. I believe it's because I have MFA activated on my PayPal account.

I figured out it's PayPal as I did an update for each account. When I got to PayPal, it prompted me to select my MFA device, it sent me a 6-digit code and it continued. It then hung and all I could do was kill the Quicken task to exit. Yes, I entered the code correctly.

    Is this a new issue?

Likewise, OSU hangs as of 9/25/2025 at 8:20AM EST. Have to kill task with Task Manager.

Restarted Quicken, did Validate, everything fine.

So, I downloaded each account EXCEPT Fidelity, individually without OSU, and all accounts downloaded successfully.

Then I backed up the file, restarted, and tried to update Fidelity individually.

It updated successfully. So it seems something is broken with OSU.

Next I restarted Quicken and tried an OSU again. It worked without errors for all accounts.

Maybe the issue was fixed while I was attempting to analyze it or maybe the steps I used corrected the issue for me.

    I don't know.

Same here…and when they send their survey out and you tell them how frustrating these repeating issues are, nothing changes. It is always something!

Same. I think something broke in this version update that came thru this morning. All my EWC+ accounts are broken. Some of them I've been able to get back via "reset account" others not so much.
