Changing multiple payee entries to new name

I have not been consistent in naming a frequent payee. Can I change a set of payees with the same undesired name to a desired name in one operation? If so, how do I accomplish this?

    One method of doing this is to use Edit Menu / Find/Replace.
    Find all banking transactions with the undesired Payee Name.
    Review the results and select/deselect the transactions needing change
    Replace Payee Name with the desired new name.

    If you are about to make changes to many transactions, be sure to create a backup of your Quicken data file BEFORE you get started working on it. If you make a mistake and change a number of transactions you didn't intend to change, restoring from the backup may be the only way out of the situation.
