Update resurrecting deleted manual bills

I have three bills that I am unable to permanently delete. They were originally created as reoccurring monthly manual bills. I've tried to delete them in Bills & reminders and although they seem to disappear, they always reappear after an update. I've also tried to change their frequency to "one time" and then skipping the reminder but that fails as well as the bill comes back after the update.
