Managing Windows Quicken Memorized payees
I've been updating (adding, deleting, merging and renaming) my memorized payees. I completed that task and a few days later I opened the memorized payee list and found some very strange combinations such as that below. Under a single payee there were a few different transactions with wildly different categories. There is no possibility that I entered such an array of categories for a single payee.
Any thoughts to why this happened?

Firing a shot into the dark …
You're automatically accepting downloaded transactions into your registers and a bad Renaming Rule was applied to these transactions.
Review your Renaming Rules and correct the rule named "Staybridge …" so it can no longer apply to other transactions. Or delete it altogether.0 -
That is a thought but I just posted one example. There were over 10-15 of such examples. I do not think erroneous renamimg rules is the issue but I will look
Thx
