Transferring the Quicken Classic app to a new PC

I'm not clear on how I transfer the app. to a new PC. Do I backup the old PC data, delete Quicken from the old PC; then download the app again from my Quicken account to the new PC and transfer and restore the backup data? If so, do I need a key to download the app into the new PC? Thanks.
