Lots do not add to total in a money market fund

I am entering a purchase in my Vanguard MMF for 6240 shares at $1. No matter what I try it enters the lot as 4256 shares at $1.00. However, the total of all shares for that MMF is correct. I can't created a sale for the entire amount of the MMF because it returns an error of not enough shares available to sell. I believe I encountered this once before and I don't recall how I fixed the problem. Has anyone seen this before and how can it be fixed. Seems to be a bug to me.

Also, it shows a capital gain for this lot which is strange. All other lots show 0 capital gains. This lot was entered by download from Quicken as were all other lots.
