There are over 350 new stocks that i know of in one account. The number of "added" stocks for years seems really low.

I need to bring this to Q support

I believe that was a stock split. So there would be no "cost". You just have more shares than you did before but you still have the same total market value of the stock.

no I verified it was not a stock split. It was when it was first purchased.

Then it doesn't make sense. Was this a downloaded transaction? Do you have a brokerage statement from that date?

And, by the way Nvidia did have a stock split on 6/10/24.

The split does show up but doesn't adjust quantity right. That is what made me investigate about added stocks.

    They are downloaded transactions.

Well, one issue is that Quicken will attempt to enter stock splits on its own and if you also get it as a download you can end up with incorrect shares. You would need to reconcile the shares and make the appropriate adjustments (or delete the incorrect entry)

bmciance is correct. Nvidia had a 10 for 1 stock split on 06/10/2024, also know as a 900% stock dividend, i.e. 9 additional shares for each share you owned.. You probably had 15 shares before this date and 150 shares after, meaning 135 shares were added. In Quicken, you should use the Stock Split transaction and report old shares of 15 and new shares of 150 and the price of the new shares.
