Add Custom Field to Invoice Template

The ability to add a custom field and title it whatever you like to the invoice template (Quicken Personal & Business) would be a great addition.

For years I've used the Ship To field for my Project Description. It always worked great because Quicken allowed me to set the title of that field to whatever I wanted. However, the recent update has started to overwrite any information I have entered in that Ship To field with a shipping address for the customer. BTW, that Ship To address has been automatically added to all my Customer files. This just erased years of invoices project descriptions. I'm a service based business and have no need for shipping address. The other option would be to remove the function that overwrites what is in the Ship To field.

Having the ability to add a custom field to invoices that saves the free form data entered would make invoices much more flexible for multiple industries.

How can the "ship to" text box be unlinked to the "customer address text box". I renamed the "ship to" box as "job address". We are aslo a service based business. This alows us to show the job address are servicing. And is not the same address as the customer address or bill to address. Very frustrating. No Quicken "greys" out when I try to customize the invoice. Have to shut down my computer to exit quicken.

I agree, this is a terrible issue. I also have years of work history ruined because the "Ship To" address has been erased. I used this field for Location, Customer name, PO#, etc.

I've been using it the same as I always have, then save as pdf or print. But I guess I need to find a workaround. I was hoping it would be fixed by now.
