Why is Next One Due not working for scheduled transactions

I have used this feature for many years without a problem. I've now created a new Quicken file and scheduled transactions are showing me multiple instances even though I have selected the option Next One Only. It seems to work sometimes if scheduled Monthly, but as soon as I change it to Weekly, it shows multiple ones. My old Quicken file does not work this way … my weekly scheduled ones show only one.

I would appreciate advice as to how to fix this as it is very annoying to see so many entries that are unnecessary .

    I can't replicate this in Quicken Classic Mac. Are you seeing this in a single account register, or somewhere else (group register or Projected Balances)?
