Pressing "Update" in the Investing/Dashboard screen shows $0 for individual stock gains/losses

Is anyone else having this issue? I press Update and get $0's under the Today $ column for all equities. The "Todays Change" field shows 0$ as well. However, the "Total Value" field is current and correct. This happened a few days ago and resolved itself, but it is back.

Having this issue again? What types of securities do you have? I know you said something about bonds. Do you have regular stocks/ETFs or do you have Mutual Funds? Do you notice this happening during the day but is okay at night? Just trying to figure out why it is seemingly random.

just have stocks and bonds. I have used the button for years to get up to date real time pricing. Today it is happening while the stock market is open.

That brings up another question…do you have "real-time quotes" selected in the investment preferences?

If you de-select that and update do the numbers change?

Ok, you may be on to something. I just deselected Real time quotes and pressed "Update" and it worked again giving current market prices. I re-selected it and hit update and got 0$'s under the "Today $" column for each equity. Then de-selected it again and "Update" worked. This started after I went to v66.12, so there may be an issue with the "real time quotes" selection under Investments in preferences within this new version.

As an aside, when I went to this version I noticed I wasnt being prompted to backup after each exit and found that my preferences for backup's had changed.

I submitted a problem report on this issue.

That seems to be the issue. I'm still on 65.29. I tried changing to real-time since I didn't have that selected but I still didn't see the problem. Hopefully they can resolve it soon. It's good that you put in a problem report. In the meantime you should probably keep it de-selected.
