What does the H&B product change process look like from Quicken Classic to Quicken cloud?

I am considering changing from Classic Home & Business (H&B) to the new cloud-only H&B Quicken but need to understand what will be required to make the change. Does quicken offer a guide on how to transfer from Classic to the cloud-based product?

I also need to understand what options there are if the web version doesn't meet my needs if the transactions can be exported and imported back into Quicken Classic.

There's no easy way to transfer anything from classic Quicken to Quicken Simplifi. You can apparently import a CSV file full of transactions into Simplifi so maybe you could export accounts one at a time from Quicken Classic. The CSV template looks like it only supports banking accounts.

I don't know what options Quicken Windows offers for importing data back from Simplifi. You can export transaction data from Simplifi in a CSV file.

@Jon Thanks. I'll take a peek at those articles. I'm actually on a Mac for Quicken. I originally tried the Window's version, but it was not working for me. The Quicken Windows functionality and UX was well past it's prime when I tried it. So I jerry-rigged this Mac to run well beyond its OS lifetime thanks to OpenCore. I now need a cloud-based application as I am too much on the go to have an extra laptop just to run Quicken.

I was hoping to have the multi-business features found on Quicken Mac with general personal account management tools. I can give up some of the investment tracking (for now) since those are long-term holds.

I see you're calling the cloud product "Quicken Simplifi." Is the "Home and Business" name just a new title for their more expensive version?

Yes. I'm assuming that Simplifi and Home & Business are really the same service and that the more expensive subscription is just unlocking additional features the same way it does with Quicken Classic.
