How to fix transactions not downloading?

I have Quicken Classic Deluxe for Mac, version 9.0.1.

I just got it a couple of days ago.

I added my accounts, and the initial download of transactions worked fine. I added some transactions from a time before the earliest transaction that was downloaded. I use a single financial institution: TD Canada Trust.

However, since then, only 4 transactions out of dozens have been downloaded automatically, no matter how often I click the update button.

I have tried various things, like resetting the cloud connection, and signing out / back in, but nothing works.

I've looked around this community, but can't find any definitive way to even diagnose the problem, that I haven't already tried.

The thing I haven't tried yet is to disconnect/reconnect each account, but the notion of ending up with hundreds of duplicate transactions is putting me off that.

Can someone please suggest a way forward?

    This isn't a Quicken issue. It's an issue with your bank. Hopefully a mod will reach out to you, but if they don't, ask the question again, this time with a more descriptive title.

    Quicken Mac does not download pending transactions, it only downloads transactions once they have cleared. At least that’s been my experience. Also, it’s been my experience that very few transactions (if any) get downloaded on Sunday or Monday. So if you just started using Quicken a few days ago I’m not surprised that after the initial download of historical transactions you didn’t see many more.
