If you had Direct Connect & Detailed Tracking already set up before this problem started, and you haven't changed anything since, I don't see any benefit to disconnecting it now - just …-1 -

You shouldn't need to restore from backup, did you try navigating to your Quicken file & opening it directly? The default location for your Quicken file would be /Users/your user name/Librar…-1
