I think it will download all up to the time you download it. Then yes it won't download the same transactions again. It keeps track and only downloads a transaction once.1 -

@vandernewt If you don't download transactions then why have you been buying the new versions? I stopped updating to a new version at Quicken 2013 and am still using it.0
