I've posted this in the past. It would be very helpful if we can print our calendar with the running daily totals for Quicken on Mac. I know Quicken Windows has the option to print the calendar, however it does not print the daily totals. I don't understand why Quicken for Mac does not have this feature. I've taken photos of my calendar and printed them, however even with the sidebar closed you can't always see the entire amount paid for the bill.

Please consider this.

Thank you

Pat

[Title edited to better explain the feature request —jacobs]

Having to manually type every one of the two hundred clients (and subset of open invoice amounts) I have in a spreadsheet is brutal. Even just getting the clients imported alone would be beneficial.

I've had a chance to try out the new invoicing feature for Quicken Classic Business & Personal for Mac, backfilling over two years of invoices for a couple customers. It's a solid start, but there are some rough edges. Notably:

Issues

The "QTY" column on the printed invoice PDF is truncated if the value is sufficiently large. For example, on a commissions-based invoice where "QTY" represents total sales, a value of 123,456.78 will appear on the PDF as "123,4…". This unfortunately limits the usefulness of the invoice from a customer standpoint

Ideas

Allow per-customer payment terms (e.g. Net 15, Net 30, Net 45, Net 60, Net 90) to default the invoice "Due Date" based on the "Invoice Date"

Better support for line breaks in the "Description" of invoice line items. Line breaks can be forced using Option-Return, but only one line is visible in the input field at a time

Allow re-ordering of invoice line items

Allow additional filtering of the invoice view by customer, type, and status

Send an invoice to the customer via email directly within Quicken

We appreciate the continued efforts to bring the Mac version closer to feature parity with the Windows version. Thank you!

These machines are still high-performing, reliable, and perfectly capable of running financial software, but they are limited by Apple to macOS Monterey.

Requiring a newer OS would force me to choose between replacing perfectly functional hardware or switching to a different financial management platform. I value Quicken’s features and would prefer to remain a customer, but continued compatibility with Monterey is essential for my workflow.

Please share this feedback with your development and product roadmap teams.

Add an option in calendars to show only pending transactions, not including those already entered. Could also then add an option for the opposite, show only entered transactions.

Having migrated from Windows, this was a valuable setting in calendars to easily see and process pending transactions. Not having it on Mac I cannot really find much use for the calendar and use the Bills & Income list, but having these options would be easier to see and manage than the list based Bills & Income screen in Mac.

I use Quicken Classic Mac. I wish to keep the app open on my Mac as I frequently make updates. But automatic backups happen only if I quit the app, and syncing to mobile/web happens only if I trigger a sync manually. My wife watches our finances by looking at Quicken on the Web and wants to see what is happening on a daily basis.

[Removed - Feature request already exists—see Smayer97's comment for link]

Please add a feature to automatically sync to mobile/web on a schedule, not just when manually triggered.

I have set my security to require a fingerprint to open the data file. However, this prevents my spouse from accessing the file if something happens to me or requires my presence for her to do so. It would be quite helpful if Quicken for Mac permitted an additional fingerprint.

making the Mileage Tracker in Quicken for Windows available in the Deluxe and Premier editions, too.

adding a Mileage Tracker module to Quicken Mac.

That would benefit many customers and help with their Income Tax recording.

Please VOTE for this idea if you would like to see this implemented in a future release of Quicken. The more votes this Idea gets, the more likely it is that we'll get it implemented.
