QWin 2017: Currency problem in investment account

I am using Quicken Deluxe 2017 and like to enter all my transactions manually.
I have a Canadian investment account containing several Canadian mutual funds. When I try to enter a transaction I get the following error message:
"Please select a security whose currency matches the currency in your account"

Thanks for the reply. My problem was user error due to not reading the account setup instructions properly. All is well now.0
