For instance, FPF pays a monthly dividend. Held for a year it will pay 12 dividends. That total can't be calculated by Quicken Mac 2018. This a routine calculation in Quicken Mac 2007.

That's it. I'm done with Quicken Mac 2018. I paid for it, but I'm not going to use it until Quicken adds a portfolio column for total income for a security. How can Quicken calculate ROI if it only considers share price ignoring the income per share component?

In my QM18 and QW18 files, ROI and IRR percentages as shown in columnar view are almost identical. Presumably, then, QM 18 is making same/similar calculations to QW but they are not viewable.

Beg to differ. IRT is a monthly paying security that I've held for quite awhile. QM18 says the ROI is 17.7%. QM07 displays income for this security. ROI is 28.9% says QM07. By the way QM07 runs in Mac OS High Sierra. Amazing.

Whoops. Just did some more comparison between QM07 and QM18. ROI for each security includes total income, but it is indeed not displayable in QM18.
