Where do you record: Unrecaptured section 1250 Capital Gains in Quicken 2018 (US Version). Several of my investments submit this information. Thanks in advance for you advice.

    Given your post(s) on this have been hanging around without responses, I doubt too many users face this specific issue.  

    Lacking other advice, I suggest you create your own category titled as applicable for you, Enter MiscInc transactions that refer to that category.  You can assign a tax line to that category that gets to something relevant since I don't think you will not find a specific tax line for that entry.

    I think you should ask a qualified tax advisor.

    It's my understanding that this number is neither real income nor real expense and as such should not be recorded in Quicken, but only on your income tax return form 1099-DIV ... but then again, what do I know about taxes?
