Missing bonds in holdings although trades show under activity

Since early February, bond transactions that are available in Quicken Activity are not showing on Holdings.
Here are two examples in the pictures below.
Citigroup, holdings show 130 shares (or bonds). Citigroup activity shows 140 bonds bought. The 2/14/18 transaction is not showing in holdings.
Same for Enterprise. Holdings show 70 bonds, transaction activity 80. Again the 2/14/18 transaction is not showing in holdings.
I'm using Quicken Deluxe 2018 v 5.5.3 on MacOS 10.13.3.

You probably did this but did you check from Placeholders at the beginning of your Transactions?0

I did. No placeholders for these transactions.BruceG said:You probably did this but did you check from Placeholders at the beginning of your Transactions?
There were some for other bond transactions, all US Treasuries and mortgage backed securities. That solved some of the problem.0 -
Can you try something for me?
- Create a backup of your file.
- Switch Back to Transaction view for this account and enter the account Settings.
- Change the settings for the various securities from FIFO to LIFO (or opposite if be the case.) Save.
- Go back and switch them back to what the setting was initially. Save
- Go back to the portfolio view and examine the results.

I'm seeing similar: recent BUY of equities successfully downloaded in transactions (from ETrade). But security does not appear in the Portfolio view. I switched FIFO->LIFO, saved, LIFO->FIFO, saved and see now see the update correctly. I had to do this for multiple accounts. Nice work around.0

Glad that fixed it for you but I have no idea why that worked to solve it. Maybe John can provide some thinking as to why that works solving this type issueJohn in NC said:Can you try something for me?

I just noticed this myself, and didn't know if it was isolated to me. Apparently not.John in NC said:Can you try something for me?

We're able to reproduce this with the help of John in NC and are now investigating the issue.John in NC said:Can you try something for me?
