Setting a default tax lot method for security sales.

Is there a way to set a default tax lot method for equity sales, like fifo, hifo etc? It is time consuming to have to pick each lot individually when i always opt for the same method. I use Quicken for Windows 2017.

The default is FIFO if you don't select specific lots or specify another method. Are you wanting to use something other than FIFO?
Quicken user since Q1999. Currently using QW2017.

Hi Lisa. There have been more than 1 thread out there on this topic w/ many investors looking for an enhancement to default the tax lot method on an account by account basis but as of now, the functionality is not available.0

Is this on the roadmap to implement? This is incredibly frustrating to have to robotically hit the same keys over and over0
