When my current Q HBR subscription runs out, I would like to switch to Q Deluxe. I just don't need HBR any more.
Can I just let my current Q HBR run out and then the same day, buy and install Q Deluxe? Can I install over top of Q HBR, or should I do a clean install of Q Deluxe?
Or, would it be better to uninstall Q HBR a few days before it runs out and buy and install Q Deluxe?
Thanks

There's no need to uninstall, do a clean install or anything like that if you're using the subscription version. The application is the same in all cases, and which functionality is available is controlled by the subscription associated with your Quicken ID.
So, if you have less than six months to run on your current subscription, and you're happy to switch to Deluxe now, shop around for the best price you can get for Deluxe at Amazon, Staples or wherever, and you'll receive an activation code (either by email for a download or in the packaging of a physical copy). You don't need to install anything, just open up Quicken, go to Help > Enter Activation Code and enter the code there:
Your new subscription will be added from the expiration date of your current subscription and it will convert to Deluxe.
