How do I remove a SPLIT from a Bill Reminder?

I set up a bill reminder with a SPLIT. I no longer need the split, but can't remove it. When I need to EDIT the reminder, I still have the extra step of editing the SPLIT, since I can't remove it. I can remove the split and re-enter the category after each entry, but that is an extra step to remember on each entry. Thanks.

Go into "Edit this and all future instances" for this reminder.
Open the Split dialog, click the Clear All button, confirm Yes, click OK.
Back on the small dialog with the Category field you should now be able to enter a single category.
