I am new to Quicken. I would like to download my banking and other money transactions from Jan 2018 until today. How do I do this?

Most banks only provide 90 days of direct download data. If your bank can produce a QFX file going back through Jan 2018, then you can probably import that. Check if you can get this file on the bank's website and if so, come back and we'll explain how to import it.
Otherwise, you may be able to import a CSV file of transactions, but this is not supported by Quicken. You would need to find and use a third party CSV to QFX conversion tool. Again, it's not supported, may violate Quicken's terms of service, and you would have to pay for the tool.Quicken Mac Subscription; Quicken Mac user since the early 90s5
