Cash not appearing in Side Bar under Investing

(1) Suppose you have an account with Fidelity
(2) Suppose you transfer monies from your bank account into the Fidelity account but do not purchase a mutual fund
(3) that transfer of cash does not appear to be recorded under Investing in the Side Bar

Am I missing something?

    Please IGNORE the above question.  I located the cash associated with the Fidelity Account in the original question.  It is included in the Fidelity total in the Side Bar and also appears as Cash when the side bar entry is clicked.
