Income Report for banking and investing accounts?

How can I create an income report that shows interest and dividends for banking and investing accounts by account and security with monthly columns? I tried customizing an income and expense report, but only interest for banking accounts appear and amounts are totaled, rather than shown for each account and security. I'm using Quicken 2017 Windows 10.

First you will have to setup your budget categories based on what you want from your reports. For example, I have as an Income parent category Investment Account A. Subcategories for Investment Account A are Dividend Income, Taxable Interest, Tax Free Interest, Long Term Capital Gains, Short Term Capital Gains. For expenses I have Investment Account Fees as the Parent category and subcategories for Investment Account A, Investment Account B and so on.When I go through my monthly statement for Investment Account A I categorize the transactions as needed. I created the report and customize it for the categories I have created. So if I want to see the interest for a given investment account it is listed as either taxable interest or tax free interest.5
