Why is one of my categories disappearing?

Wondering why one of my categories in Quicken Mac (Version 5.11.0) disappears when I do a banking/cc download.
I did change some categories around yesterday and that was one of them.
When first open file, it's ok (keep having to open you backup). But, then when do update those particular transactions become uncategorized.

Mobile Sync can cause this havoc.
I would make sure things are fine in your desktop file, and make a backup if you haven't. Then go into Preferences:Connected Services and you will see an option to reset the Cloud data. Do that.
You won't lose any data-this will simply remove/upload a fresh copy of your data (including your category list)5

Thank you so much!! That makes total sense. Did that as well. However, since I was "panicked" before, I just created new categories, merged the "confused" categories into it, and then it worked. This is tons easier, so will use next time. Almost wondering if this is something smart to do every once in a while? Thanks again.0
