Why does an expense posted to a subcategory not show up on the CSL report?

I added a new subcategory but an expense I posted to it doesn't show up on the monthly CSL report.

What does your CSL report say in the upper left corner?  Does the expense you are looking for fit within the parameters outlined in the four lines of Date Range, Accounts, Categories and Tags?
