Investment account market value and totals do not match

I have an investment account. Quicken holdings / shares and market value are correctly displayed in the account overview grid.   However, the market value total is incorrect.  The date is set correctly and the cash balance is 0.

If you've double checked the number of shares is correct and the ticker symbols are correct, then run a file validate with Rebuild investing lots selected. File>File Operations>Validate.

Hi GeoffG, that solved my problem.  The validate process revealed some transactions in error that were not visible/present before.  Thank you very much!
