This was trivial in Quicken for Mac 2007 but I can't figure out how to do it in Quicken for Mac 2019.
I want to find out if a transaction was entered in the wrong register before I enter it in the correct register.

It's very easy:
1. Click the All Transactions register in the sidebar
2. Make sure the "Amount" column is visible (if not menu View > Columns)
3. Click in the search box, top right, then click the magnifying glass and choose "Amount".
4. Enter the amount in the box and you should see the result
After finding it, to move the transaction to the correct resister:
1. Make sure the Account column is showing (menu View > Columns)
2. Double click the transaction's Amount column and select the correct account from the popup list (or just type it there).Quicken Mac Subscription; Quicken Mac user since the early 90s5
