Two usability questions - Account List and To-Do bar
RSKadish
Hi,
Is there a way to set the Account List to automatically hide itself? I can roll it up and down, but it would be nice if you could roll it down, select an account, and have it roll itself back up, to save some of that valuable screen real estate.
Also, the only way I can find to view the To-Do Bar is to use the "Dock To-Do Bar" option in the View menu. Again, it takes up a lot of space and is useless once you've completed your to-dos. Is there a quicker way to make it appear and disappear?
Thanks,
- Steve

About the Account Bar:
You can open/close it by clicking the triangle to the left of the word ACCOUNTS in the Account Bar header.
You can achieve a similar result by using the F11 - key as a toggle.
About the To Do Bar:
I would try to forget about its existence and use the flags next to each account name in the Account bar as reminder for actions to be taken.
It appears to me that the To Do bar is on its way out, due to low usage and may be removed in a future release. The programmers just haven't gotten a round tuit yet.

There is a quicker way to make it disappear.
Similar to the Account Bar: at the top of the To Do Bar, just to the left of the "To Do" text, is a down-pointing arrowhead. Clicking that arrowhead will remove the To Do Bar.
You'll still need to use View > Dock To Do Bar to make it appear.

To temporarily open the Account Bar, click next to the show/hide arrow rather than on the arrow.

Thank very much!

HI UKR,
Thank for the response. That's too bad. I like the To-Do bar.
F11 toggles the entire top tab menu for me. It doesn't open and close the accounts list.
Thanks,
- Steve
