Quicken won't open

Quicken Windows Subscription Member ✭✭
Installed it . opened it then closed it down. Program then would not open, Uninstalled and reinstalled and the same thing is happening. Program won't open

Do not open an existing file but create a New Quicken Data File, first, then you can make sure the program works with a New File and if it crashes with your Quicken Data File, then you need to restore older Manual Backups until it does not crash, then work on from there.

I created a new data file but it still hung up.0

was able to find the patch to load - that fixed my problem1

Loading the patch was a temporary fix. Found I have to load it again each time I try to open the desktop application0

Thank you for sharing that you are also experiencing issues with Quicken. May I ask, what exactly is happening in Quicken?
Is the program freezing? If so, what actions are being performed when the freeze occurs, i.e - signing into the Quicken ID, running One Step Update, Syncing to the Quicken Cloud, etc.
Do you receive a blank screen that only says "Success" after signing into the Quicken ID?
Or is Quicken crashing and you are receiving a dialogue window asking you to submit a crash report to Quicken?
Please also let us know what version and release of Quicken you are using (Help > About Quicken).
