Quicken Classic for Mac
Investing (Mac)
why manual divid or int on investment does not show on mobile device month summary inflow after sync
Murad Ali Murad
I am a user of Quicken for Mac 2018 and I want to sync transactions on my mobile device. However the interest or dividends on investment done manually does no show as an inflow on my device after syncing. All other inflows are synced and are shown on the mobile device.

Hello
@Murad Ali Murad
Thank you for taking the time to share your question with the Community, although I apologize that you have not yet received a response.
The Mobile/Web Apps for Quicken are intended as "companion" apps for the desktop Quicken software and are limited in what information can be synced and viewed.
Investment accounts may be selected to sync and will show the details for Holdings (securities) associated with the investment account, but the investment transactions themselves do not sync and are not available for view in the App, we apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.
Transactions for other types of accounts such as a checking/savings/credit card account can be synced and will be available to view and edit in the mobile/web apps.
I hope this information is helpful and please let us know if there are further questions/concerns.
Thank you,
Sarah

Thank you Sarah for explaining why I cannot sync investment income. However that does not solve the issue that the month's summary on the mobile device is useless as it does not include all inflows and outflows which what it should do. It is therefore better to remove the month summary as it does not service any useful purpose.
