I cannot reinstall Quicken, error says its already installed

Question

I had some errors with quicken, forum said to uninstall and reinstall quicken.  When I try to install, it says that quicken already exists and go to add/delete programs to remove and try to install again.  Quicken is not installed, I cannot find it anywhere on my computer.  The forum said to move all quicken files to another folder and create a new folder to install from, still won't work.  Any ideas on how to re-install Quicken?
