installing updates without local administrator rights
dlucas
are there certain folders or register keys that I can grant admin rights to so that I can install quicken updates? not wanting to grant local admin rights to the whole machine for this user just to the folders/reg that is needed.

The User, must have the ability to right-click on the Installer and click Run as administrator to install, otherwise, the installation might disappear, when the computer is restarted. The Quicken PDF Driver that Quicken installs would definitely disappear.
What about telling the User to bring a laptop in, or buy a Laptop and bring it in, and they can set it up as they see fit.
