Totals changing in Net Worth report

In my Net Worth report; when I update a Cash amount in a specific account, in earlier months the same cash amount is updated which changes the previous Net Worth total (for the previous month)...that shouldn't happen....Any ideas? Thanks

Please provide an example of what you mean by "update a Cash amount in a specific account".Does this update apply to bank accounts or investment account registers?
In said account register, is there an "Opening Balance" transaction, marked in grey like a Placeholder transaction?0
