Linking bills to bill reminders
Michael Rosen
If I am linking a bill in the online bill center, why do I need to set a due date for the reminder if it is pulling from the online bill?
Thanks.

Hello Michael Rosen,
Thank you for bringing your question to the community, although I do apologize that you have yet to receive a response.
To clarify, linking a Biller in the Online Bill Center is separate from creating a Bill Reminder. A Bill Reminder is solely for your Quicken register, regardless of linking it to an Online Biller or managing it manually.
I was able to add a new Online Bill into Quicken, link to the Biller, and save it without creating a reminder. I was then able to go in afterward and link the Online Bill to a Bill Reminder, or create a new Bill Reminder for it. The Bill Reminder was not required when adding the Online Bill. Conversely, I was able to add a new Manual Bill into Quicken, and that did require me to put a due date as part of the Bill Reminder. The due date was a required field when creating the Bill Reminder.
