How to change account transaction timespan

in Download, Add/Update Accounts (Mac)
I want to see my bank and credit card transactions from January 1, until today. I have downloaded those accounts into Quicken for Mac, but I can only scroll back to April. I have tried resetting the transaction timespan to year-to-date and Last 12 months, but nothing happens. What can I do?
