Recurring utility bills do not match up when downloading bank (Q Mac)

I setup recurring utility bills to see a forward balance. The amount will vary sometimes and after updating the bank account quicken enters a duplicate transaction that I have to go back and manualy adjust. Anyway to rectify?

You drag the downloaded transaction atop your scheduled reminder. This will update your reminder with the correct amount and mark it as paid.
On more recent versions of Quicken, you might get a warning about the difference in amounts. You can confirm this dialog. (The difference is why it didn't auto match in the first place.)5
